Endoline Automation has partnered with Breathe Technologies to deliver a fully integrated case sealing solution for a leading global contract logistics provider.
The collaboration supports the automation of the outbound packaging line at one of the logistics company’s high-volume distribution facilities, significantly improving packing speed, accuracy, and seal quality.
Breathe Technologies, warehouse automation and software specialists, designed an outbound packing and labelling automation system all controlled by their proprietary software Orquestr8. To complete a key element of the solution, they needed a technology partner capable of integrating seamlessly with their platform while delivering reliable, high-performance case sealing machinery, and they turned to Endoline Automation.

“Our clients rely on us from system design, through installation and throughout the entire lifetime of the system,” comments Ugo Okafor, Head of Engineering at Breathe Technologies. “We take full accountability and that’s why we only work with partners who provide not just excellent technology, but responsive service and long-term support. Endoline Automation has proven to be exactly that.”
Integrating With Orquestr8
Endoline supplied and installed its 704 Fully Automatic Random Case Sealer, a robust and adaptable machine capable of handling mixed case sizes on high-speed lines.
The case sealer was modified to interface directly with Breathe Technologies’ software, ensuring the machine automatically adjusted to each case size and applied secure sealing in coordination with real-time system instructions. Breathe Technologies’ software integration extended to the downstream labelling system, removing the risk of mislabelling and improving traceability.
From Manual Sealing to Full Automation
Previously, packers manually filled cases on a conveyor-fed line, with the final sealing and labelling steps performed by hand, which historically led to inconsistencies and errors. Now, once a case is packed, it is automatically conveyed through Endoline’s case sealer and on to the labeller, fully automated and software coordinated.

The system ensures every case is sealed to a high standard and correctly labelled, ready for immediate dispatch.
The Results
Since implementation, the site has seen a significant reduction in manual errors and a noticeable uplift in throughput. Case sealing consistency has improved across the board, contributing to enhanced reliability throughout the dispatch process.
“This project is a great example of how we approach every installation, through close collaboration and a clear understanding of the customer’s operational needs,” comments Mark Budd, Sales Manager at Endoline Automation.

“Our role wasn’t just to supply a machine, but to ensure it integrated seamlessly into the existing line and worked in harmony with the wider system. Ongoing support through servicing, spares, and technical backup is integral to what we offer at Endoline, it’s a core part of the value we provide to every customer.”
