Endoline Automation Wins Automate UK Award for Innovative Packaging Machinery

Endoline Automation is delighted to announce its victory at the Automate UK Awards, where the company was recognised within the Innovative Packaging Machinery category.

The award celebrates Endoline’s pioneering 407 High-Speed Random Case Gluer, a fully automated top and bottom random case gluer.

Engineered and built in the UK, the 407 High-Speed Random Case Gluer has been instrumental in helping a leading global confectionery manufacturer in Australia achieve its sustainability goals while doubling line speed.

Endoline was the only automation company globally that possessed the capability to engineer a solution that met all of the criteria specified by the confectionery brand.

Representing a significant leap forward in packaging technology, the 407 High-Speed Random Case Gluer can handle up to 18 random-sized cases per minute, automatically adjusting itself to varying case dimensions, ensuring precision and reliability.

Judges praised the system for its ability to double throughput within an existing footprint while incorporating environmentally friendly features and providing a robust tamper-evident seal through glue which, once set, is virtually impossible to remove.

While enhancing both production output and security, the system aligns with the global push toward sustainability as the glue is a more environmentally friendly option and enhances the recyclability of cardboard boxes.

The judging panel also highlighted Endoline Automation’s exceptional engineering design and functionality, noting the 407’s ability to increase production output by 100% from a smaller footprint.

Commenting on the system, a judge commented: “Endoline Automation’s 407 High-Speed Random Case Gluer is a unique solution devised to double the throughput of a line within an existing footprint whilst incorporating the required tamper-evident sealing in an environmentally friendly way.”

“We were delighted to win an Automate UK award,” comments Andrew Yates, Managing Director of Endoline Automation. “This award not only recognises our commitment to innovation, and the global impact of our 407 High-Speed Random Case Gluer but also underscores the engineering capabilities of our dedicated team.

This groundbreaking technology not only meets the stringent requirements of one of the world’s largest confectionery manufacturers but also significantly enhances their sustainability efforts and packing efficiency.”

The Automate UK Awards, formerly known as the PPMA Group Industry Awards, were held last week during the PPMA show. These awards celebrate the exemplary work of individuals and companies within the production line technologies sector, marking a significant achievement for Endoline Automation.
