Supporting sustainability – Endoline Automation to unveil innovative taping solution
Endoline Automation, a pioneer in end-of-line machinery, will debut its cutting-edge 900 series Wet Paper Tape Case Sealing solution at the upcoming PPMA Show (Stand D90).
Underscoring Endoline’s commitment to sustainability and excellence, this latest innovation marks a significant milestone in the company’s rich history of engineering high-quality packaging machinery solutions.
The new Wet Paper Tape Case Sealing solution is a testament to years of meticulous research and development, reflecting the company’s dedication to meeting the evolving needs of its customers.
Endoline initially introduced a water-activated tape case sealer over 40 years ago. Due to the limited design and capabilities of those early systems, the company transitioned to plastic tape, which was more cost-effective and widely used at the time.
During the intervening decades, Endoline has continually enhanced its case-sealing technology to keep pace with industry demands. Fast forward to today and sustainability has become a pressing priority for businesses worldwide.
In response, Endoline has been exploring highly effective wet paper tape solutions for several years. Collaborating closely with its network of distributors and partners, the company sought to develop a solution that simultaneously met customer demands for high-speed, flexible, and quality-assured sealing and sustainable objectives.
Representing a significant advancement in sustainable packaging machinery design this new system is set to help companies significantly reduce plastic waste, a crucial step towards achieving environmental objectives.
While sustainable, the paper-based tape is stronger than its plastic counterparts and, when applied, it creates a permanent bond with the case, so any evidence of tampering is visible.
For the PPMA Show, Endoline will display its new 900 series Wet Paper Tape Case Sealing solution with a semi-automatic random sealer, which will be on show at the PPMA Show. The wet paper technology will also be available across Endoline’s entire case sealing range of random and pre-set machinery in both fully and semi-automatic models.
“Endoline has always prioritised engineering solutions that align with our customers’ needs,” comments Andrew Yates, Managing Director of Endoline Automation. “The introduction of our Wet Paper Tape Case Sealer not only supports productivity and quality but also addresses the urgent need for sustainable packaging solutions.”
During the PPMA Show, Endoline experts will be on hand to demonstrate the system’s capabilities and discuss how it can integrate seamlessly into existing packaging operations.
